Presented by St John's Players. The annual Mozart birthday concert this year offers an enticing selection of ensembles, including two major works with piano – one of the most beautiful of the early concertos in the chamber version Mozart sanctioned for piano and string quartet. The programme also includes the sublime Quintet with wind instruments, which the composer thought one of his best works. Early works for string quartet and wind sextet complete the programme.
