As part of Norden Farm's reopening and fundraising, Saturday 1 May will see a marathon 14 hour live streamed performance of Vexations by the eccentric French composer Erik Satie (best known for his famous Gymnopedies).
Written for solo piano, Vexations consists of just four lines of music, but Satie directed that the aptly-named piece should be played 840 times!
A team of twenty professional musicians, organised by Nigel Wilkinson, will be donating their services to give a complete performance, which will be live streamed below from 9am - 11pm.
