Music-at-Hill Concert Society is delighted to relaunch its Friday lunchtime recital series at the midtown church of St Giles-in-the-Fields. After a pandemic-enforced break from activity since last December, we have a slate of talented musicians and ensembles lined up to get you back into the habit of live concert-going!

The Fibonacci String Quartet was formed in September 2019 and is an international ensemble of talented young string players, bringing together Czech, Belgian, Swedish and Montenegrin nationalities. Since their formation, the members of Fibonacci have participated in numerous masterclasses and projects with prestigious mentors including Adrian Brendel, as well as with the Gould Piano Trio, the Endellion, Bozzini and Castalian Quartets and individual members of the Chilingirian Quartet.

In March 2020 they won both First Prize and Audience Prize at the Beethoven Competition for Young Musicians in London, competing against international musicians up to 26 years in age, and later that same month they also won First Prize in the St James Chamber Music Competition at Guildhall.

Admission free, retiring collection. Printed programmes will be given out on arrival.

Special 'coffee and cookie' deal available in the churchyard on production of your concert programme.
