In this closing concert of the 2021 Summer Organ Festival, Westminster Abbey Sub-Organist Peter Holder plays his own transcription of Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals in the composer’s 100th anniversary year. Fast establishing a reputation as one of the most exciting organists of his generation, Peter Holder has held the post of Sub-Organist of Westminster Abbey since October 2017. Alongside his Abbey duties as principal organist for the daily services, he is increasingly in demand as a solo performer and made his BBC Proms debut in 2019. He regularly broadcasts for radio and television and is an organ tutor at the Royal Academy of Music.

Tickets must be booked in advance via Eventbrite. It will not be possible to purchase tickets on the door.

Please note this concert was originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday 13th July.

This concert is currently planned as a socially-distanced event with reduced capacity, in line with present government guidance.

Seats are available singly or in pairs, with pairs suitable only for attendees from the same household or support bubble. Seating is unreserved and our staff will allocate the most appropriate seats within the relevant price band when you arrive.
