Solomon is probably the most lavish and magnificent of Handel's oratorios. Complete with stunning choruses and arias full of drama and introspective beauty, it includes the famous Arrival of the Queen of Sheba sinfonia. In Solomon Handel brings to life a picture of the Golden Age where religion, justice, nature and art are all in harmony, giving expression to a wide range of human emotions in the most glorious music.
