Chosen from an international entry they will perform repertoire of their choice, each ensemble playing fror 30 minutes. The result will be announced from the platform by Chris de Souza, chairman of the eminent jury, shortly after the last ensemble has performed.

The Parkhouse Award celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2021 and is delighted to have been able to hold the competition despite the difficulties presented by Covid-19. It is a biennial award for young ensembles at the beginning of their career, and provides its one winning ensemble with three concerts in London and the North of England together with general support and guidance.

Recent winners include the Amatis Trio, Trio Sora and the Lux Trio.
