  1. Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No 5 in E flat, 'Emperor' Op 73 - Ludwig van Beethoven
  2. Symphony No 7 in A Op 92 - Ludwig van Beethoven

Beethoven’s last piano concerto is his most brilliant and powerful. The confident outer movements are balanced by an inward-looking slow movement, which moves into the finale with a simple but magical transition. The Symphony No 7 was first performed at a memorably mammoth concert in 1813 and was one of his greatest public successes. Its joyous energy and rhythmic impetus make it one of the most popular of his symphonies.
