Southampton Concert Orchestra returns to Thornden Hall with a dazzling programme of orchestral music.
Featuring Tchaikovsky’s towering Symphony No 5, this promises to be a much anticipated return to orchestral concerts at Thornden Hall.
We welcome back Keelan Carew as concerto soloist in the stunning Piano Concerto by John Ireland, a underperformed and neglected work that deserves to be heard more regularly. Works by Richard Strauss and Mozart complete the bill.
