Spiritato! is a period instrument ensemble with a love for little-known composers, as illustrated in this programme, The Taste of this Nation. As individuals they can be found performing with specialist ensembles throughout the UK and the rest of Europe, including the Academy of Ancient Music, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Les Talens Lyriques and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique.

Their British performances have received 4-star reviews from the Financial Times, Early Music Today, Bachtrack and BBC Music Magazine, resulting in tours of southwest France, performances at the European Early Music Network showcase, appearances on RSI (Swiss-Italian radio), RAI Radio 3 (Italy) and their CD 'Primo Movimento', reviewed on BBC Radio 3.

Tonight they are joined by the mezzo-soprano Ciara Hendrick.

Spiritato's latest recording, 'The Taste of this Nation', was released in February 2021.
