We have already welcomed Jonian to Claygate as leader of Trio Gaspard, and since his appearance with us he has begun to take continental audiences by storm! His performances as soloist with many international ensembles including the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Athens State Symphony, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra have singled him out as “a huge talent (with) an element of pure genius …” (Süddeutsche Zeitung, 2017). He made his solo debut at the Wigmore Hall, his debut as soloist and artistic director of the Caerus Kammerensemble at the Berlin Konzerthaus, and has appeared at many prestigious continental music festivals.
