The acclaimed double bass player, Leon Bosch celebrates his 60th birthday with the ensemble I Musicanti he founded in 2013 with which he has explored a wide range of music, often neglected. Here he includes his arrangement of Beethoven's early Horn Sonata, plus a new solo work by fellow South African Grant McLachlan. He also celebrates the bicentenary of the 'Paganini of the Double Bass' Giovanni Bottesini.
