Concert in Blue | Liverpool Welsh Choral

This will be an fabulous concert featuring jazz soloists and a jazz combo. There will be instrumental items in a jazz style as well as our main choir pieces.

You will be amazed hearing Shakespeare's words sung in George Shearing's jazz interpretation. Our highlight work will be Mass in Blue by Will Todd, one of our great living composers. Liverpool Welsh Choral had the privilege of having him as our guest at a Zoom session during lockdown and hearing all about his piano playing career and his composing.

MD Keith Orrell is enjoying teaching the choir in a style different from classical choral works and our brilliant accompanist Stephen Hargreaves will delight us all with his jazz piano playing.
