Discover Women Composers of African descent in this African Women Concert, featuring music by Erollyn Wallen, Shirley J Thompson, Maria Thompson Corley, Florence Price, Nkeiru Okoye, Betty Jackson King and Margaret Bonds, performed by wonderful musicians Francesca Chiejina (soprano), Kamilla Arku (piano) and Simone Ibbett-Brown (mezzo-soprano). The 2022 African Concert Series runs monthly with an audience, in line with the Government’s covid guidelines. We recommend that all customers wear face coverings whilst moving around the building and whilst sitting in your seats except for individuals who are exempt.
