Over 200 years after most of their music was written, four Viennese giants are still synonymous with some of the greatest classical music ever written: Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert. Between them they defined musical styles and forms that would inspire (and intimidate) generations of composers who followed.

Join pianist Daniel Tong, violinist Sara Trickey and cellist Robin Michael for an informal and enlightening day, including complete performances of six masterpieces for duo and trio, exploring these composers and their music. What did they have in common? And perhaps more interestingly, how did each compose music in a unique way, with his own distinctive voice?

Come and discover the inner workings of this timeless music!

The event runs from 10.30am until 4.30pm. Tea and coffee are included, and there will a break for lunch. For more details about the day, please see our website.
