James Lisney’s acclaimed …petits concerts return with a series of recitals raising money for a variety of charities.

Tonight’s launch concerts (6.30pm and a repeat at 9pm) are dedicated to Beethoven in both monumental and miniature forms. The Thirty Three Variations on a Waltz by Diabelli present a universe of wit and transformation; and the beloved Für Elise is here heard in the later version of 1822.

Tickets include a complimentary glass of champagne (or soft alternative) at a reception half an hour before each performance. Also enjoy a free Beethoven box set of the violin sonatas from Woodhouse Editions with each ticket, with all proceeds going to Help Musicians (the working title of the Musicians Benevolent Fund).
