This celebratory Jubilee concert is also dedicated to Ukraine.

Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de St Georges, one of whose overtures is to be performed, was a champion fencer, war hero and contemporary of Mozart. He is considered the first black composer of note whose music, while wildly popular and influential during his lifetime, has long been overlooked.

This Chiltern Camerata concert is the final one in the orchestra's 2021-22 season.

Doors open at 6.45 pm.

All net proceeds from this concert will be going to the Ukraine Emergency Appeal.
