This first concert features the international harpist Ieuan Jones, who will play a programme from composers ranging from the 19th century to the present day. He will include several pieces by Schubert, Chopin and Liszt. A highlight will be David Watkins's composition 'Birth of the moon over the marsh of Rhuddlan', which describes the Battle of Rhuddlan, in which King Offa died, and which he dedicated to Ieuan.

The performance will last about 1 hour, and will have no interval.

Wine and soft drinks will be available before the performance.
