Victor Braojos is highly praised for his intense, poetic performances of the classical and romantic repertoires. He is also known for his passionate interpretations of Spanish music, and we will be able to enjoy both aspects of his repertoire in this recital.

Born in Barcelona, Victor studied for his BMus (Hons) at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, supported by a scholarship from the Anna Riera Foundation. He then moved to London to pursue his Master in Piano Performance (Distinction and Concert Recital Diploma) and Artist Diploma at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Professor Martin Roscoe who says of him, "When I first heard Victor play I was immediately impressed by his intelligent, dedicated and thoughtful approach to his work, his eye for details and the sincerity and integrity of his musical intentions . . . he has now grown into a very serious artist who has something interesting to say across a very wide repertoire ranging from Bach to contemporary music."

In 2013 Victor won 1st prize in the Catalunya Young Pianists Competition – the youngest winner in the competition's long history – and has followed it up with more prizewinning achievements in national and international competitions, building a career that has taken him to venues across Europe. He was awarded an Imogen Cooper Music Trust scholarship in 2021. Victor's new CD 'Shreds of Light' will be released in London on Monday 13 June.
