Irish-born pianist Aidan Chan brings a range of works from around the world to Charlton House, including those of Schumann, Byrd, Chinese-American composer Tan Dun, and Liszt. This performance also marks the public premiere of 2021 Early Music Young Composers Award winner Delyth Field’s piece Polygon. At 23, Chan has won more than 90 prizes for his performances in Ireland, and has performed at notable venues around the world including Carnegie Hall. He studies with Nigel Clayton and Andrew Zolinsky at the Royal College of Music.
