An Evening of Mozart | The City of Leicester Singers

For our Autumn 2022 concert, The City of Leicester Singers will present an evening of choral music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The first half comprises the Missa Brevis in G, K 140,is also known as the Pastoral Mass and the Litaniae Lauretanae, K 195, is also known as the Litany of Loreto or Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The second half begins with the well-known Ave Verum Corpus (Hail, true body), K618. This is followed by Exsultate, Jubilate, K 165. The concert ends with Vespere solennes de confessore, K 339, (solemn vespers for a confessor).
