As its contribution to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Music-at-Hill Concert Society is pleased to present a brass quintet concert given by the young ensemble Alpine Brass, featuring a festive programme by mainly English composers. Their lunchtime performance will include two favourites of the brass quintet repertoire, Malcolm Arnold's Quintet no. 1 and the Opus 5 Quintet by Victor Ewald, as well as a new arrangement of Vaughan Williams' beautiful miniature 'O Taste and See' which was composed for the actual Coronation service in 1953.

At the end of the concert, audience members should find themselves offered a glass of something suitable with which to toast Her Majesty!
