Join the talented young players of the National Youth String Orchestra in a performance of string orchestra classics at the close of their annual summer residential. Founded in 1995, NYSO is one of the UK's most prestigious training orchestras for string players up to the age of 21.

National Youth String Orchestra's outstanding characteristic is the personalised coaching by Artistic Director Damian Iorio and a team of world class chamber music professionals. Working on challenging repertoire they unlock the potential in each player, developing their musicality and confidence as individuals and as members of a section. Recent performances include appearances at the Three Choirs Festival, Lake District Summer Music, MusicFest Aberystwyth and Cambridge Summer Music.
