  1. Peer Gynt Suite No 1 Op 46 - Edvard Grieg
  2. Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D minor - Aram Khachaturian
  3. Symphony No 2 in D Op 43 - Jean Sibelius

After a very successful UK tour just before the pandemic, the Swedish Philharmonia returns to the UK with the virtuosic Serbian-French violinist Nemanja Radulovic. Radulovic is renowned for his powerful and thrilling performances worldwide and we therefore greatly look forward to his interpretation of the Khachaturian Violin Concerto.

The concert will open with a selection of music from Grieg’s Peer Gynt and will be brought to a triumphant close when Jaime Martin conducts the Orchestra in a performance of Sibelius’s majestic Symphony No 2.

‘Lyric delicacy and last-movement super-virtuosity were caught to near perfection’ (The Times on Nemanja Radulovic)
