  1. Quintet for piano and strings in A, 'Die Forelle' (Trout) D 667 - Franz Schubert

Orion Duo, Ruth Bebb (viola) and Christopher Blake (piano) have asked three local accomplished young musicians to join with them to perform the Schubert 'Trout' Quintet. The young players are all at, or about to go to, music college, and all have been finalists in the NI Young Musician of the Year competition. (Julie was winner in 2021.) They will also play solo pieces.

The concert will follow two intensive days of rehearsal, and we hope to give the young players a great experience of working on chamber music with a very experienced duo, who have played together for 20 years.
