In 2016 Warren Mailley-Smith became the first British pianist to perform Chopin's complete works for solo piano from memory, in a series of recitals at St John's Smith Square that was hailed by the critics as an "epic achievement". He has repeated the series at several venues in 2022.

He has given solo recitals at the Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall, and has performed for the British Royal Family on numerous occasions. He is one of the busiest concert pianists of his generation and gave over a hundred solo performances in 2021.
