Sarah Tenant-Flowers is conducting North Cotswold Chamber Choir in music by a wide range of composers: some of it may be familiar to our audiences and some may be new to them.

Jaakko Mäntyjärvi’s Canticum calamitatis maritimae commemorates the sinking of the MS Estonia (1994) with texts drawn from the Catholic Requiem Mass, Psalm 107: "They that go down to the sea in ships..." and from the Finnish Latin-language newspaper Nuntii Latini. The music uses many different vocal effects to evoke something heart-breaking and moving.

Come with us as we journey through the seas, rivers and waters of life.
