A week after the opening concert of its 2022-23 Season the WSO is pleased to be taking part in the Stratford-on-Avon Music Festival. They will reprise The Swan of Tuonela with Louise Braithwaite as the cor anglais soloist, and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, with Callum Smart making a welcome return to the orchestra. The programme is completed by Dvorak's 7th, the most dramatic and austere of his symphonies.
