Music for soprano and continuo, mostly by women composers of the early Italian Baroque. Marie Lemaire and Din Ghani explore sacred and secular works by Francesca Caccini, Lucrezia Orsina Vizzana and Barbara Strozzi, whose musical talents were able to overcome the male-dominated courts and church.
