As we enter the season of Lent, the first half of the concert is of a reflective nature with works all based on The Lord's Prayer, starting with medieval plainsong and travelling through the ages via such composers as Henry Purcell and Maurice Duruflé to Bob Chilcott.

The second half has a different feel with, firstly, Debussy's Trois chansons de Charles d'Orléans and, finally, five spirituals, two of which are arranged by our conductor Philip Lawson.
