'Songs of Farewell' includes evocative, reflective pieces by Hubert Parry, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Herbert Howells, arrangements of traditional songs by David Willcocks and Peter Warlock. Most works are sung without accompaniment, apart from a piece by Williams Byrd (in this, his 400th anniversary year) accompanied by Essex Viols.
