Rochdale Phoenix Opera Society presents Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore

Ruddigore was the tenth collaboration between Gilbert and Sullivan and is a hilarious parody of stock Victorian melodrama. Filled with curses, ghosts and crime, it tells of the two bad baronets of Ruddigore, who must commit a crime a day – or perish in inconceivable agony. Involving a complicated love affair, the story takes some unexpected turns and is guaranteed to be an entertaining evening.

If you’ve never watched an opera or operetta before, then G&S is a great place to start and will have you hooked for a lifetime. For those of you who are diehard G&S fans, we are sure that you will love our rendition. We look forward to seeing you in the audience!
