A lunchtime concert featuring City Music Foundation Artists Sebastian Issler and Anna Cavaliero from 1pm at The Great Hall, Barts Heritage. An exciting mix of hits and hidden treasures presented by Sebastian Issler and Anna Cavaliero.

The two songs “An den Mond in einer Herbstnacht” and “Der Winterabend” are two of Schubert’s most beautiful extended through-composed songs. The first part brings Schubert together with storytelling at the fore while the second half enters a more luscious musical realm with folk and cabaret influences, and the prevailing theme of love’s expectation and dissolution.
