Yehudi Menuhin School Summer Festival 2023: Chamber Showcase

Chamber music holds a very special place in life at the Yehudi Menuhin School with many life long friendships and enduring professional partnerships forged over spirited rehearsals of Beethoven String Quartets. Every student in the school is part of at least one chamber group, and this evening’s programme showcases some of the repertoire that they have learned this academic year. This concert will feature Stravinsky’s infamous masterpiece in the composer’s own arrangement for two pianos, with YMS pianists joining Director of Music Ashley Wass for a performance as unforgettable and theatrical as the ballet itself.
