An inspiring an uplifting selection of the very best of folk, jazz and American rhythm and blues from this hugely popular choir from Texas! The Mainland Chorale directed by Dr James Heffel, has selected a repertoire specially for their performance tour of Scotland and England. The title of this group’s program is 'Our American Musical Heritage', and includes diverse styles in American music, including folk, jazz, Broadway, and traditional choral music. Highlights include Shenandoah, the best of Duke Ellington, You'll never walk alone, and some beautiful American folk and jazz classics with piano accompaniment.
