Maximiliano Martin is well known to Scottish audiences, both as principal clarinet of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and as a brilliant soloist. His programme ranges from the Gallic charm of Poulenc to the beautiful romanticism of late Brahms and the impressionistic colours of Debussy. It also includes some spectacular French virtuoso showpieces by Widor and Gaubert.

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is, without doubt, one of the finest in the world. We are delighted to present a series of solo recitals by its members as part of our Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme.

Running time: 75 minutes, no interval.
