Scottish Chamber Orchestra cellist, Su-a Lee, performs with Scottish folk musician Hamish Napier for our Fringe Festival concert. The SCO’s brilliant classical cellist Su-a Lee is continually reaching beyond the classical genre. She has worked with exceptional world music artists throughout her career. She is highly sought after for her distinctive sound, expression and willingness to explore. With Hamish Napier, one of Scotland’s busiest and multi-faceted folk musicians, they perform original compositions inspired by the surroundings of his native Strathspey, as well as old traditional favourites and some classic Bach.

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is, without doubt, one of the finest in the world and we are delighted to present a series of fantastic recitals given by soloists from this famous ensemble. This unique series is exclusive to our Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme and features brilliant players from all sections of the orchestra.
