London Concord Singers invite you to celebrate summer in music, from Delius's Two Songs to be sung of a summer night on the water, to Britten's Flower Songs, Elgar in part song mood and John Rutter celebrating British traditional songs. There are spirituals, arranged by Tippet, and music for male chorus by Finzi and Bantock, whilst things take a darker turn with Poulenc's seven settings of surrealist poets.
