On a first-time tour to the UK, France and Belgium, the Davis Senior High School Baroque Ensemble, from Davis, California, directed by Angelo Moreno, performs an eclectic programme of baroque classics. This ensemble of music students aged 16-18 years focuses purely on baroque performance practices and the mastery of technique skills on period style instruments. The ensemble works with professionals such as Rachel Podger and Rachel Barton Pine. The players are young, but the talent is there for all to see.
