London Medical Orchestra are joined by Tottenham Community Choir and cellist Josh Salter for a spectacular Christmas concert on Sunday 10 December.
Choral classics by Karl Jenkins and John Rutter are performed alongside orchestral favourites including Dvorak’s Cello Concerto and the Overture to The Barber of Seville by Rossini, made famous by Bugs Bunny in Looney Tunes.
Funds are being raised for Word for Weapons - Collecting knives, saving lives - from ticket and refreshment sales so please join us for a festive mince pie and a glass of something cheery all in aid of a great cause!
Please note this concert has sold out the past two years, so book early to avoid disappointment.
The church is 8 minutes' walk from Finsbury Park tube (Piccadilly and Victoria lines) and main line station.
On street parking available.
The London Medical Orchestra was formed in 1954, consisting mainly of refugee doctors and dentists from central Europe. Conductors have included Norman Del Mar, Colin Davis and Bernard Keefe; and Sir Adrian Boult and Jacqueline du Pré are among past Vice Presidents. While Orchestra membership is no longer restricted to the medical profession, the Orchestra continues to support medical charities through fund raising concerts.
