  1. 12 Poems of Emily Dickinson - Aaron Copland

This recital will interleave the indelible poetry of Emily Dickinson with Copland’s jewel-like settings, sung by acclaimed soprano Claire Booth with Christopher Glynn.

Emily Dickinson’s tender, rhythmic poems have been set to music by countless composers and songwriters from Eric Whitacre to Natalie Merchant. Aaron Copland’s wonderfully varied 12 poems of Emily Dickinson hone in on some of Dickinson’s most intuitively musical works.
