The London Russian Music School (formerly the Belsize Music Academy) was founded four years ago to advance education in classical music. It is based on the legendary Russian musical tradition and provides a first class, well-rounded music education for young people in the UK, including for those with limited means. All the teachers are trained in the Russian musical tradition and many combine teaching at the school with flourishing concert careers.
Performers:
Alessandro D'Orazio was born in 2003, started playing the piano at the age of 6 and currently studies at the London Russian Music School (LRMS) with Elena Berezovsky and Peter Limonov.
Giacomo Filippi was born in 2008 and joined the LRMS at age 4 studying with Nafis Umerkulova.
Jemial Khairov, 10 years old,started learning the piano at the age of 4 at the LRMS where he continues his studies with Elena Berezovsky and Nafis Umerkulova.
Shaunak Desia was born in 2003 and has studied with Dr Jonathan Walker, and at the LRMS with Sergei Basukinsky and Elena Berezovsky.
Sophia Symonds was born in 2009 and started her piano studies at age 4 at the LRMS with Veronika Shoot.
