This free lunchtime concert features chamber music and folk song arrangements by Beethoven, and celebrates 250 years since his birth.

Tickets are not required - just turn up.

After the concert there will be a retiring collection in aid of the Michael Hurd Memorial Fund, which awards grants of up to £250 to support young musicians in Petersfield and the surrounding area. For more information, go to its website

The 2020 Petersfield Musical Festival runs from 13 to 21 March, with an exciting programme of concerts, and a wide range of performers and music - including choral, orchestral, opera, solo instrumental, chamber music and a special screening of a Chaplin film, with live music accompaniment. We also celebrate 250 years since the birth of Ludwig van Beethoven.
