Ensemble 360 launches the Festival with a selection of Beethoven’s early chamber music that displays his originality and the full range of his skills. The third of Beethoven’s earliest set of quartets is regarded as one of his most gentle, while his vivacious Septet, premiered in 1800 together with the First Symphony, achieved rapid and enduring popularity and is still hugely enjoyed by players and audiences alike today.
