French cellist Juliette Giovacchini began studying the cello at the age of nine at the Conservatoire Francis Poulenc in Paris. After obtaining the international baccalaureate with distinction, she was invited to the Conservatoire CRR of Paris in 2010 and began studying with Helen Dautry. After obtaining the diploma DEM of Music with distinction, she entered the Royal College of Music, London.

Juliette has appeared regularly as a soloist, including a performance of the Haydn Concerto in D major and solo recitals in Paris and London.

As an orchestra player Juliette performed in partnership with the Theatre du Chatelet of Paris, Shangai with the orchestra of La Sorbonne University. In 2011, Juliette also lead the cello section of an orchestra with soloists from the National Orchestra of France. Since she came to London, she has worked with great musicians such as Sir Roger Norrington, Vladmir Jurowski, Daniel Harding, and Daniel Gatti. Since 2016 Juliette is a member of the Mahler Jugendorchester and tours all over Europe conducted by the greatest conductors.

Juliette is studying for her Master degree at the Royal College of Music, taught by Alexander Chaushian and supported by the John Lewis scholarship. Future projects include recitals across France, a tour with the Mahler Jugendorchester, and sonata concerts with her pianist.

Dominika Maszczynska is a Polish pianist with a passion for historical keyboard instruments. She is currently studying fortepiano with Geoffrey Govier at The Royal College of Music, London where she is a Charles Colt Scholar.

Beforehand, she studied piano with Andrzej Jasinski, fortepiano with Katarzyna Drogosz and harpsichord with Marcin Swiatkiewicz at The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music, Katowice.

Dominika was a semi-finalist of the prestigious Musica Antiqua Competition in Brugge, as well as a laureate of VII International Music Competition in Citta’ di Filadelfia (Italy) and XV International Juliusz Zarebski Music Competition (Poland).

As a soloist and continuo player she has performed with The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, The Academic Baroque Orchestra of Academy of Music in Katowice and Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra.

Having performed at many festivals and concerts across Europe, she also has wide experience as a chamber musician.
