Sabine Sergejeva was born in 1998 in Riga. She is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the class of Prof David Takeno. She started playing the violin at the age of 7. Since then she has performed with the chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Riga, Latvian Chamber orchestra and the Latvian National Symphony orchestra. She has given numerous performances in several music halls in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy and the Netherlands.
She is a laureate and prize winner of several international competitions. In 2015 she was awarded a scholarship by Inese Galante foundation for her studies in London.
She is also a member of the Accendo String Quaret who have performed in several London venues such as the Barbican and Wigmore Halls. They are also the winners of the intercollegiate string quartet competition 'Cavatina'. The Accenda Quartet has collaborated with musicians such as David Waterman, Andras Keller, Levon Chilingirian, as well as the Emerson and Takacs Quartets.
Sabine's studies in London are supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
