The Gesualdo Six present some of the best vocal consort works from modern-day composers to renaissance, as part of JAM on the Marsh: Virtual festival. Passion and Polyphony features contemporary works by Judith Bingham, Owain Park and Alison Willis alongside a world premiere by British composer, Joanna Ward are juxtaposed with music by Tallis and Gesualdo. The ensemble has become renowned for their stagecraft, and the church of St Leonard’s, Hythe (Kent) provides a unique canvas for this programme. This concert goes live, for free, at 7.30pm on Friday 7th August.
