The Final Concert marks the end of the ORA Singers Composer Competition, the national free educational scheme for young composers from UK state schools. 10 Finalists are selected to receive free one-to-one mentoring with professional ORA-commissioned composers, who develop their compositional skills and help them write a brand new piece. The Final sees ORA Singers perform and record each new piece in front of a live audience and a panel of expert adjudicators, with this year's panel chaired by the international best-selling composer, John Rutter. Audience members will have their chance to vote for the recipient of the Audience Prize, with voting available online. The concert is followed by a drinks reception, and the official prize-giving. A livestream will be available for those who wish to join online.
