A programme of solo songs and duets exploring love, levity and loss. Sopranos Carmel Edwards and Jane Hunt renew their duet partnership which was interrupted in 2020 by the pandemic. Din Ghani will accompany them on lute and baroque guitar. The programme of French and English songs cover a range of styles, from early air de cour to the later air serieux, and from Jacobean lute song to Carolingian continuo song.
