  1. Bishop Rock - overture for orchestra - Doreen Carwithen
  2. Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No 3 in C minor Op 37 - Ludwig van Beethoven
  3. Symphony No 2, 'A London Symphony' - Ralph Vaughan Williams

We welcome our new Musical Patron, Robert Markham, to the stunning Church of St Peter in Oundle, to perform Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto. Following last Season's succesful introduction of a female composer, we are pleased to be perfoming the Overture 'Bishop Rock', and also celebrating the centenary year of Doreen Carwithen, the world's first fully professional female composer, who wrote more than 30 film scores and scored for the official film of Queen Elizabeth II coronation. Finally, be transported to London City with Vaughan Williams's Symphony, evoking Hampstead Heath on an August Bank Holiday, Bloomsbury Square on a November afternoon, to name a few, and hear 'Big Ben' chime.
