The Yehudi Menuhin School's Winter festival draws to a close with music that involves the whole school community. The first half pays tribute to the other great musical anniversary of the year – César Franck (1822–1890) – with his piano quintet performed by pupils with Associate Artist Maxim Rysanov (viola) and Director of Music Ashley Wass (piano). In the second half the Christmas theme is picked up with Corelli’s Christmas Concerto and Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols, conducted by David Condry.
